Leland Wayne Carter, 70, of Albany, Missouri, passed away October 26, 2021 at his home. Wayne was born August 1, 1951 in Pattonsburg, Missouri. He was the son of Leland Dean and Marjorie Eloise (Mooney) Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wayne was a United States Marine Veteran. He retired from the Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail in Pattonsburg, where he was a transport guard.

On July 4, 1975, he married Maria Ramirez. She survives of the home.

He is also survived by his children, Christopher Alan (Christian) Carter, Bethany; David Franklin (Misty) Carter, Bethany; Nicole Marie (Eric) Angle, Albany; grandchildren, Hailey Jewel Carter, Kennedy Brooke Carter, Bentley Adalynn Carter, Wayland Charles Carter, Lukas Dain Angle, Sawyer Paisley Angle; sisters, Marjorie (Greg) Steele, Afton, IA; Bonnie (Neil) Hills, Sidney, IA; brother-in-law, Efren Ramirez, Riverside, CA.
