Obituary

Lilly L. Waldeier, 85, of King City and a former resident of Albany, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017.

Lilly, the daughter of Garner F. and Ida M. (Chipp) Young was born May 10, 1932 in Harrison County, Missouri.

On June 19, 1954, she was united in marriage to H.D. Waldeier. He preceded her in death December 29, 1990.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Laura Kimery, brothers and sisters Claude, Winifred, Pete (Sherman), Elizabeth (Betty), Hartsell (Doc), Cella (Peggy), Elbert (Red), Horace (Tink) and Robert (Bob).

For several years, Lilly worked as an aid for home health and 14 years as a CNA for Colonial Manor in Albany.  She was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church, Esther Chapter #13 Order of the Eastern Star, Albany and served as chairwoman of the Albany Democratic Party.

Survivors: daughter, Rebecca Waldeier (Eddie Daniel), Cameron; sister, Mary Ellen Funk, Atchison, KS; grandson, Joshua Kimery, Albany.
