Linda Kay McGinley, 71, of Darlington, Missouri, passed away, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

Linda was born April 10, 1946 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Robert E. and LaVonne (Buckridge) Gunter.

Linda was united in marriage to Donald I. McGinley on July 4, 1964.

Linda worked for several area nursing homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of the Darlington Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Brenda Kay McGinley and her son Richard Eugene McGinley.

Survivors: husband, Donald McGinley of the home; son, Roy McGinley; daughters, Beth Ann Ramer and Bobbi Jo Shipers, all of Darlington; grandchildren, Stephanie, Adam and Charity Ramer, Halley (Jordan) Laytham, Johnathon McGinley, Jordanne and Sierra Anthony.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Friday, May 12 at the Darlington Baptist Church with burial in the Rouse Cemetery, Darlington. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM Thursday.
