Lois Ella Miller, 94 of Albany and a former resident of Stanberry passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Colonial Manor in Albany. Lois was born February 5, 1915 in Albany, Missouri. She was the daughter of Cyrus Lee and Sarah Elizabeth (Forbis) Miller. Lois spent the early part of her life in the family home. After her mother's death in 1945, Lois continued to live with and care for her father until his death in 1963. She lived alone in Stanberry until 1995 at which time she moved to Colonial Manor in Albany. As a young girl, Lois attended Dorsey Christian Church north of Albany. She later became a member of the Stanberry Christian Church and attended when she was able. Lois loved cats and fed every stray that showed up at her door. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, Louis, sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Carl Austin, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Ruby Miller and nephew, James Miller. Survivors: Sister-in-law, Eunice Miller, Bethany and several nieces and nephews.
