Lora Lee McGinley, 78 of Albany, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Albany. Lora Lee was born on May 12, 1933, near Cainsville, Missouri, to Lee and Lela Bain. She graduated from Cainsville High School in 1951. She attended Northwest Missouri State College for two years. After working several years for Bethany High School, she joined her husband helping him manage and run their family farm. Lora Lee was a bookkeeper and tax practitioner for many years. She also served on the FHA Board and the Gentry County Memorial Hospital Board. She was a member of the Albany Baptist Church where she served as clerk. Lora Lee was treasurer of the Northwest Baptist Association for several years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lela Bain and her father Lee Bain; her sister Betty Hartschen; her infant brother Cecil Wayne Bain; and her infant son Thomas Lee McGinley. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Merlin McGinley of the home; daughter, Kathie Lincoln and her husband Steve (Council Bluffs, Iowa); daughter, Karen Poe and her husband Randy (Liberty, Missouri); son, Kenneth McGinley and his wife Becky (Albany, Missouri); sister Linda Buckalew and her husband Rick (Thornton, Colorado). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Ryan and Brent Lincoln; Nathan and Meagan Noble; Laura and Kristen Poe; Paige and Kaylie McGinley, Kaitlin and Zach Sharp and four great-children, Dominic and Lilly Lincoln, Kylie and Kamrie Noble and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
