Louise (Sally) Hatheway, the daughter of Andrew Samuel and Sadie Florence (Spainhower) Malson was born December 21, 1924 in St. Joseph, Missouri and passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry at the age of 91.

Sally was a 1942 graduate of the Stanberry High School.  On November 11, 1944, she was united in marriage to Merlin (Mike) Hatheway.  He preceded her in death April 21, 2000.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters Zella Johnson and Pauline Malson, brothers Paul, Lawrence and Lester Malson.

Sally owned and operated Sally Hatheway's Tax and Fax for over 50 years. She was a member of the Albany First Presbyterian Church, Esther Chapter #13 of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she held several state offices and was a past member of the BPW.

Survivors: daughter, Gayle Hatheway, Alexandria, VA; son, Merlin (Sandie) Hatheway Jr., Albany; granddaughters, Mary Beth (Trent) Turner, Independence, MO; Andie (Kurt) Schiller, Overland Park, KS; great-grandchildren, Kody, Katie and Matthew Turner and Annabel Schiller.
