Marcella D. York, the daughter of James Wiley and Bertha M. (Davis) Pulsifer was born October 12, 1928 in McFall, Missouri and passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry at the age of 87.

On November 21, l948, Marcella was united in marriage to Donald Joseph York. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2008.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Amy Kathryn Green, two sisters and step mother Louise Pulsifer.

Marcella was employed by the Old American Insurance Company for approximately 10 years, a payroll clerk at the Naval Supply Center in Norfolk, Virginia for 10 years and retired from the Missouri Department of Mental Health after 24 years of service.

Survivors: daughter, Barbara (Steve) Riley, Albany; son, Tim (Diane) York, Stanwood, WA; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
