Margaret Elizabeth (Lewis) Pierce, 92, of St. Joseph, formerly of Stanberry, passed away August 30, 2018 in St. Joseph.

She was born June 12, 1926 in Dover, Delaware, the daughter of the late Thomas Selivan and Grace Marie (Baker) Lewis.

Elizabeth worked 45 years as a certified medication technician in several long-term care facilities.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards, crocheting, knitting, and gambling at the casino.

Elizabeth married Garland Barnibus Pierce on November 1, 1942.  He preceded her in death January 12, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers Bill and Albert, son Lloyd, daughter Linda, grandson John Wilson Jr., and great-grandson Jason Hontz.

Survivors include daughters, Wanda Wilson & John, Joyce Moran & Glenn, Patricia Schubert & friend Dave, Phillis Stoll & John, Connie King & Bill; son, Garland Pierce Jr.; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and her dog Buddy.

Graveside Service and Burial 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 4 at the Jennings Cemetery, Alanthus Grove, MO.
