Marion Dale Burton, 75, of Albany, Missouri, passed away December 10, 2024, at Northcare Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri.
Marion was born on September 16, 1949, in Albany, Missouri, the son of Clarence Marion and Anna Evelyn (Wood) Burton. He graduated from Grant City High School.
Marion served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the VFW of Grant City, Missouri.
On June 3, 1983, he married Deborah Marshall.
Marion retired from York International in Albany, where he worked as a plant production supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie of the home; sons, Daniel (Lacey) Burton, Bethany, MO; Matt (Isis) Burton, Lake Viking, MO; Jeremy Burton, Coffey, MO; step-sons, H. Aro (Tami) DePoy, Bremen, IN; George (Amanda) Greenwell, Alexandria, VA; and Casey Greenwell, Grant City, MO; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Moad, Barbara King, and Elizabeth (Alfred) Butterfield, all of Albany, MO; brother, Harold (Linda) Burton, Albany, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Donald, Robert, Jimmy, Wesely and Charles, sister, Gladys Lininger, Betty Walker and Sharon Dahl.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM Friday, December 20 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. Inurnment with Military Rites in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday evening at the chapel.
