Mary Katherine Gregory, 87, of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Redwood Nursing Home in Cameron, Missouri.
Mary was born March 26, 1931 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Jesse and Mable (Sipes) Holmes.
On August 8, 1950, Mary was united in marriage to Morris Gregory in Stanberry, Missouri.
Mary worked as a nurse for Plainview Nursing Home and Colonial Manor and for Eveready in Maryville for 12 years. She was a member of the Alanthus Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Anita Soper, brothers, JC, Robert, John, Dale and Gordon Holmes, sisters, Helen Carlock, Irene Blunk, Martha Cibert and Leona King.
Survivors: husband, Morris Gregory of Stanberry; son, Mike (Gail) Gregory, Stanberry; daughter Diane (Dale) Wiederholt, Stanberry; son-in-law, Doug Soper, St. Joseph, MO; 8 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Karel) Holmes, Des Moines, IA; sisters, Shirley Duehring; Donna (Don) Schuster; Sharon (Marvin) Cervene, all of Fort Dodge, IA; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Friday, December 28, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Old Brick Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday evening at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Thursday.
