Mary Newman, 82, of Darlington, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at her home. Mary, the daughter of Charles Harmon and Ruby Mae (Kohler) Snyder was born March 8, 1932 in Tekamah, Nebraska. On September 10, 1948, Mary was united in marriage to Harold V. Newman. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles (Bud) Snyder. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Darlington Baptist Church. Survivors: daughters, Sharon Curry of the home; Maxine (Randall) Cooper, Anchor Point, Alaska; son, Paul Newman, Albany; grandchildren, Stephanie McIntyre, Mary Emily Miller, Jason (Susan) Newman, Melissa (Cody) Newman, Paula Hall, Jeremy (Dawn) Cooper, Jamie (Luke) Foster, Julia (Greg) Lutz; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 10 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.
