Dr. Max O. Salsman, 69 of Albany, Missouri passed away, Thursday, July 12, 2012 at his home. Max was born April 22, 1943 in Evona, Missouri to Everett and Maxine (Fountain) Salsman. His parents preceded him in death. Max graduated from Martinsville R-6 High School in May of 1961. After graduation, Max worked for the Grant City Cap Factory. He enlisted in the United States National Guard, where he served from 1964-1970. In February of 1966, he was ordained in the World Christian Ship Ministries and received his Doctor of Divinity. He was a member of the American Legion Post #106 of Albany and the Friends of the Albany Carnegie Public Library. Survivors include his sister, Mary Chipp, Osceola, Iowa; brother, Rex (Margaret) Salsman, Gentryville, MO; nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside Service and Burial: 10:00 AM Monday, July 16 at the Henton Cemetery, Albany. There is no scheduled family visitation, however friends may call anytime after 8:00 AM Monday at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.
