Maxine Forbis, 94 of Albany, passed away, Sunday, May 22, 2011 at a St. Joseph hospital. On July 28, 1916, Maxine was born in Lone Star, Missouri. She was the daughter of Crit and Gladys (Goff) Carter. On October 1, 1939, Maxine was united in marriage to Glen Forbis. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Maxine was a homemaker. She was a member of the Dorsey Christian Church, where she served as organist and pianist. Survivors: Sons, Ronald (Mary) Forbis, Carl Junction, MO; Terry Forbis, Albany; Daughter, Anita (Charles) Willits, St. Joseph; Sister, Ogarita Miller, Bethany; 7 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.
