I. Merle Ebersole was born on July 11, 1917, the middle child of Fred and Elizabeth (Mount) Ebersole in Martinsville, Missouri and passed away at Pine View Manor in Stanberry on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the age of 97. Ms. Ebersole was a graduate of Frog Pond School and a 1937 graduate of Albany High School. She worked as a bookkeeper and sales representative for many years at Townsend Wholesale Grocery in Albany, Bethany, and Maryville and also as a teller for the Gentry County Bank in Albany. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Don Ebersole and sister, Denie Zlatos. She is survived by two nephews, William Ebersole and David Ebersole, niece Christy Zlatos, several great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nephews. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Monday, March 30 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 8:00 AM Monday morning.
