Mildred Teel passed away September 29, 2026 at the age of 97. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Pierce) Oyler. She was born near Gentryville, Missouri on February 8, 1929.

On June 18, 1948 she married Lloyd Teel who preceded her in death July 17, 1987.

She worked at Old American Insurance Company before working with her husband at the elementary school for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Albany.

Survivors include her son, Larry and June of Overland Park, KS; two grandsons, Jason and Robin, Reno, NV; Brian and Janella, Omaha, NE; 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Carl, Hershell and Garland and a sister, Dorothy.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Monday, October 5 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. Burial will be in the Carmack Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday. Friends may call anytime after 10:00 AM Monday.
