Obituary

William Morris Gregory, 92, of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at King City Manor.

Morris, the son of Sherman W. and N. May (Higginbotham) Gregory was born May 16, 1926 in Stanberry, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Mary Katherine Holmes August 8, 1950 in Stanberry. She preceded him in death December 22, 2018.

Also preceding him in death, include his parents, daughter, Anita Soper, two great-grandchildren, sisters, Doris Howell and Mildred Craven, and a brother, Marvin Gregory.

Morris was a Korean Army Veteran. He was a farmer, businessman and factory worker before his retirement, and was a member of the Alanthus Church of Christ.

Survivors: son, Mike (Gail) Gregory, Stanberry; daughter, Diane (Dale) Wiederholt, Stanberry; son-in-law, Doug Soper, St. Joseph, MO; 8 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Friday, March 1 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.  Burial with Military Rites will be in the Old Brick Cemetery, Albany.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 8:00 AM Friday.Memorial Contributions: Old Brick Cemetery or Three Rivers Hospice in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N.
