Morris Don Pittsenbarger, 78 of Albany passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Missouri Veteran's Home in Cameron. Don, the son of Elmer Ellis and Ethel (Morris) Pittsenbarger was born September 8, 1934 in McFall, Missouri. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Harold, Junior and John Pittsenbarger, sisters, Bonnie Bell, Lucille Daniels and Lois Eulinger. On January 2, 1971, he was united in marriage to Lorna Rasmussen. Don served in the United States Air Force from February 16, 1955 to September 16, 1968 and retired as a Tech Sergant. He then worked for the Department of the Air Force at Richards-Gabaur and Hill Air Force Base. He had a combined federal service of 32 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Albany, McFall/Gentryville Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, Albany and the Scottish Rite of Kansas City, MO. Survivors: Wife, Lorna Pittsenbarger, Albany; Son, Morris Don Pittsenbarger Jr., Shenandoah, IA; Daughters, Raylene (Larry) Colvin, Kansas City, MO; Polly (Tim) Johns, Bethany; Sister, Louella Shepard, Pocatello, Idaho; Grandchildren, Jessica Padget, Caleb and August Pittsenbarger, Gavin, Jastin and Rayleigh Johns, Marrisa and Makenzie Colvin; great-grandchildren, Cameron Pittsenbarger and Anika Padget. Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Friday, October 12 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Albany. Burial with Military Rites will be in the Fairview Cemetery, McFall. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 on Thursday at the chapel.
