Nadine Beckett, 79 of Albany and a former resident of Loveland, Colorado passed away Monday, September 22, 2008 at Colonial Manor in Albany. Nadine was born June 4, 1929 in Harrison County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Alva and Adelia (Hicks) Ward. Nadine was united in marriage to Carl Beckett on February 10, 1950 in Darlington, Missouri. He preceded her in death November 29, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Clyde William Beckett, brothers, Sherman Buck Ward and Jim Ward and her sisters, Ruby Holcomb and Artist Hardin. Nadine worked for the Pattonsburg Cap Factory and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church and a sunday school teacher for little kids.
