Norman Clayton Lininger Sr. was born February 9, 1929 in Guilford, Missouri to Otis and Cora (Morriss) Lininger and passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry at the age of 88.

Norman served in the Army National Guard.  He was a farmer and a member of the Albany First Baptist Church.

He married Gladys LaVaughn Burton October 12, 1967. She preceded him in death October 23, 2012.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, daughter Ann Norton, three brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors: children, Barb (Randy) Adcock, Stanberry; Ronnie (Michelle) Lininger, New Hampton; Jane (John) Miller, Albany; Tammy Hamilton, Illinois; Clayton Lininger; Lorie (Bill) Sorensen; Connie (Steve) Adams; Chris (Christine) Lininger, all of Albany; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews.
