Obituary

Paul V. Showen, 69, of Cameron, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Cameron Regional Medical Center.

Paul, the son of Murrel Orbis and Flora A. (Jennings) Showen was born March 5, 1949 in Stanberry, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Rex Brown.

Paul was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving in Germany.

Paul started working for the Montgomery Elevator Company in Kansas City, Missouri in 1979, retiring in 1989.

Paul married Nancy Cornelia Nichols June 29, 1985. She survives of the home.

He is also survived by brothers, Dean (Norma) Showen, Stanberry; Gordon Showen, Bend, OR; sisters, Myrlene Brown, Albany; Audra (Gregg) Craven, Liberty, MO; Leeta (John) Ickes, Wellington, MO; sister-in-law, Pat (Scott) Weber, Forney, TX; brother-in-law, Bruce (Pat) Nichols, California, MO; step-daughter, Tina (Phillip) Murray, Alabama; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Monday, October 15 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 9:30 Monday morning.  Memorial Contributions: Missouri Veterans Home of Cameron, in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N.
