Reta Jean Davidson, 78 of Bolivar, Missouri was welcomed home by her Lord on May 26, 2014. She was born July 9, 1935 in Siloam, Missouri to Gartin Wade and Dora E. (Barber) Williams. Reta retired from the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of the Darlington Baptist Church. She married Bennie "Versal" Davidson on December 8, 1952. To this union five children were born. Reta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, a grandson, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a son, Rick Davidson, Cameron, MO; daughters, Pamela Thomas and Beverly Matthews both of Bolivar, MO; Julie Boyer, Pleasant Hill, MO; two sister, Norma Howard, Independence, MO; Beverly Colvin, Pleasant Hill, MO; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister to all and will be greatly missed. Funeral Service: 3:00 PM Saturday, May 31 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, McFall, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM Saturday morning.
