Rick D. Martin, the son of Thomas Dean and Opal F. (Petry) Martin was born in Bethany, Missouri on December 17, 1951 and passed away at Northwest Medical Center in Albany, Missouri on November 17, 2014 at the age of 62. His parents preceded him in death. Survived by: Sons Lucas Dean Martin (Jeanice),and Eric Lee Richardson (Lindsey) all of Lakeland, Florida. Grandchildren, Carson Dean Martin, Harper Kinsley Martin , Ashley Morgan Wisneski, Emily Madison Wisneski, Cohen Sawyer Richardson, and Cale Christian Richardson. Aunt and Uncle Noni and Ernie Lorenson of Gower, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends. Rick was a lifelong resident of Albany, Missouri and graduated from Albany High School in 1969. Rick worked at Missouri Telephone Company before becoming superintendent of the Albany Country Club golf course for many years, retiring in 2014. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, and a loyal St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. Celebration of Life: 10:00 AM Thursday, November 20, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. Burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM Wednesday.
