Robert R. Hardin, 77, of Albany, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at his home.
Robert, the son of Russell Art and Frona Faye (Bowman) Hardin was born June 2, 1939 in Darlington, Missouri.
On June 2, 1961, he was united in marriage to Marilyn (Weese) Hardin. To this union three daughters were born, Kellie, Lorie and Jennifer. Marilyn preceded him in death on June 9, 2004.
Bob married June Osborne on July 8, 2008.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and step-sons, Tim and Rick Noble.
In early years, Bob worked for the Weese Conoco Station. For 28 years before retiring he worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation, and also did custom welding, dozing and raised cattle. Bob served in the National Guard, retiring after 32 years of service.
He was a former member of the Moila Shrine Temple in St. Joseph, Athens Lodge #127, Albany York Rite and Esther Chapter #13 of the Order of the Eastern Star all of Albany.
Survivors: wife, June Hardin of the home; daughters, Kellie Bell, Mt. Vernon, MO; Lorie (Dennis) Wilmes, Rea, MO; Jennifer (Chris) Prettyman, Barnard, MO; former son-in-law, Phillip Bell, Kansas City, MO; brother, Richard (Janice) Hardin, Albany; step-daughters, Lynnette (Rick) Oldham, Stanberry; Lori (James) Williams, Stanberry; Kathy (Doug) Steiner, Maryville; mother-in-law, Geraldine Weese, Albany; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
