Robert Clark Popplewell, 70, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away November 8, 2020 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri. Robert, the son of Kenneth and Betty June (Parks) Popplewell was born November 30, 1949 in McFall, Missouri.

Robert graduated from Lathrop High School, class of 1967.  Later he attended Platte College in St. Joseph, graduating in 1981.

In 1969, he entered the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sgt in 1971.

He married Ruth Ann Roberts May 30, 1970, they later divorced. To this union four children were born.

Robert worked as a truck driver for the lumberyard in Maysville.

Survivors:  his children, Richard (Matt) Popplewell, Liberty; Angela (Martin) Rhoad, Lathrop; Kevin Popplewell, Maysville; Nathalie (Jody) Lutters, Howardwick, TX; father, Kenneth Popplewell, Albany; siblings, Kathy Popplewell, Kansas City, MO; Micheal (Nora) Popplewell, Maryville; Judy Popplewell, Albany; Jerry (Barbara) Popplewell; Larry Popplewell and Brenda Popplewell, all of Albany; grandchildren, Ariana Popplewell (Calisha); Jessica Courter (Shawn); Carley Popplewell; Jake Rhoad (Abby); Alex Neil (Andrew); Kaleb Popplewell; Kyler Popplewell; McKenzie Popplewell; Sydney Popplewell; Bella Popplewell; Tessa Lutters, Torrey Archuleta; Joey Archuleta; Jeremiah, Skyanna, Jayden and Octavia Popplewell.

Great-Grandchildren, Oliver, Parker, Lincoln, Hudson, Emmerson, Preston, Eva, Mariah, Parker, Whitley, Jayden, Hadley, Oaklynn, Baby Rhoad and Baby Sebastian.

He was preceded in death by his mother Betty, grandparents Floyd and Pauline Parks, John and Hildred Popplewell, sisters, Rose Ann Shipers and Norma Crabtree.
