Robert (Bob) Steinman was born May 16, 1928 in Gentry County, Missouri, the son of Jimmy Paul and Ora Irene (Culp) Steinman and passed away October 12, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center in Albany at the age of 90.

On May 16, 1960, Bob married Susan (Jo) Josephine Dannar. She preceded him in death November 22, 2000.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, son, Ronald Clair Steinman, grandsons, Robert Travis Burton and James Paul Steinman, step-daughter, Effie Lynn Smith Harris, step-son, James Dannar Smith, sister, Wanda Findley, brother, Billy Paul Steinman and son-in-law, Gary Bounds.

Bob worked for 30 years as a road grader for the State Highway Department.

Survivors: daughters, Linda Bounds, Albany; Lois (Ron) Brauer, Bridgewater, NJ; son, Frankie (Dianne) Steinman, Qreen Creek, AZ; step-sons, Jerry (Therena) Smith, Stillwater, OK; LaVerne "Butch" Smith, Brownville, NB; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 16 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Tuesday.  The body will be cremated following the visitation. Inurnment will be in the High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Mosaic Life Care Hospice in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N.
