Russell Lloyd Crane, 81 of Chillicothe, Missouri and a former resident of Albany, Missouri, passed away January 26, 2017 at Hedrick Medical Center.

He was born on March 1, 1935 in Gentry County to Delton and Mary Crane.

Russell married his wife, Jeanette on July 12, 1958. They were married for 58 years and had 4 children.

During his life Russell worked at the Albany Hy-Vee as a meat cutter for 29 years and was a hobby farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Delton and Mary and a sister, Betty Crane.

Survivors are his wife Jeanette of the home; his 4 children, Richard (Terri) Crane, Chillicothe; Connie (Terry) Breer, Chillicothe; Doug (Joanna) Crane, Knoxville, IA and Mark (Chris) Crane, Independence, MO; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Jack (Mary) Crane, Meridian, ID; sister, Shirley Butler, Lamoni, IA.

Russell was a favorite grandpa among his 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
