Ruth Darlene Teater went to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the age of 88. She was born to Francis and Rosa McDonald on November 8, 1928 in Williamson, Iowa.

Ruth graduated in 1947 from Chariton, Iowa High School, then attended college in Des Moines, Iowa.

She married Marvin Teater April 10, 1949, who was a career Air Force

man. He preceded her in death February 22, 1991.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Conrad McDonald who died in World War II in 1945, sister Evelyn McDonald in 2008 and a baby brother Bernard and baby sister Isabel.

Survivors: 4 sons, Mike (Pat) Teater, Grand Prairie, TX; Pastor John Teater, Pleasant Hill, MO; Joe (Rhonda) Teater, Kansas City, KS; Jeff (Michelle) Teater, Albany; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step- great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Monday, September 11 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.  The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday evening at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM Sunday.  Online condolences: www.robersonpolleychapel.com
