Sharon Lynn Pierce, 56. of Stanberry, passed from this life on June 1, 2010. She was the daughter of Lester E. and Elizabeth A. (Echterling) Pierce. Sharon was born June 2, 1953 in Artesia, California. She lived in Buena Park and Brea, California before moving to Stanberry. She worked at Cruitt's Boarding Home, Rival Manufacturing and at the Gentry County Hospital. Sharon was a member of the Darlington Baptist Church. She enjoyed yard work, fishing and collecting. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her pets were a big part of her life. She is survived by her parents, Lester E. and Elizabeth A. Pierce, Stanberry; aunt, Lorene Mathews, Aumsville, OR; her "sis", Carma Peery, her special angel, Gentry Woodward and her "kids", Tokie and Climber. Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Gary L. Pierce, paternal grandparents, Isaac and Stella Pierce, maternal grandparents, Frank and Caroline Echterling and uncle, Melvin Mathews.
