It is with great sadness that the family of Stephen Perry Norman Sr announces his passing after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer, on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the age of 68 years.

A native of Bethany, MO, he was born January 26, 1950, the son of the late Walter Scott Norman Jr. and Martha Phyllis (Glasco) Norman.

Steve enjoyed a 35 year career working for MoDot as well as serving the community of Albany as a reserve Deputy Sheriff, followed by serving the community of Cameron as a reserve Police Officer.  He was also a volunteer firefighter for cities of Albany and Mound City.

Steve enjoyed bright lights, driving fast, playing golf, hunting with his two sons, taking family trips and Pepsi. He was a member of the First Christian Church of King City, Missouri

Steve will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Gail and his children, Stephen (Michelle), Lee (Veronica). Steve will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Preston, Paiton, Paizlee, Paxton, and Porter, by this brother, Scott of Jacksonville Fl.

Memorial Service: 11:30 AM Monday, December 10 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the chapel.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the King City First Christian Church in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N.
