Steven D. Lundy, 96 of New Hampton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at an Albany hospital. Steven, the son of Lafayette and Vicie (Dawson) Lundy was born August 31, 1914 in New Hampton, Missouri. On September 13, 1938, he was united in marriage to Opal Jean Hawley. Steven was a member of the New Hampton United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #97 A.F. & A.M., York Rite, VFW Post #2176 all of Bethany and he was also a lifetime member of the DAV. Steven owned and operated Lundy Produce in New Hampton for 35 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jimmy David Lundy, son-in-law, Wayne Zimmerman and 5 brothers. Survivors: Wife, Opal Lundy, New Hampton, MO; Daughter, Betty Zimmerman, Gallatin, MO; 3 grandchildren, Steven Zimmerman, Melinda Yarnell and Shelley Estes; 3 great-grandchildren, Garrett & Ashlynn Yarnell and Andrew Estes.
