Obituary

Sue Baker 75 of Albany passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009 at an Albany hospital. Sue, the daughter of Clyde and Onedia (Davis) Whitaker was born March 18, 1934 in Springdale, Arkansas. She moved to Amarillo, Texas at 9 months old and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1952. In 1957, Sue left Texas and moved to Califoria. In October of 1972, Sue moved to Missouri. She worked at the Gentry County Memorial Hospital for over 24 years in many areas, mostly as a ward secretary. She retired in 1997. In August of 1992, she married Elvis Baker. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Grover and Daniel Miller and Stephen Phillip and a grandson Carl Phillip. Survivors include: daughters, Onedia Wolverton, Hopkins, MO; Cynthia Carroll, Stanberry; sons, Charles Phillip, Fountain, CO; Lonnie Miller, Jefferson City, MO; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
