Suzanne R. Ward, 65, of Albany, Missouri, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, April 29, 2017, following a lengthy courageous battle with liver disease.

Suzanne was born January 11, 1952 in St. Joseph to Junior and Mary Hamilton. They preceded her in death. At the tender young age of 11, after losing her mother, she went to live with her grandparents Frank and Jessie Hamilton. Granddad and Granny were her world and she loved them with all she had. She was one of 9 siblings; survivors- Ricky, Rodney, Terry, Rex, R.J., Jack, Bob and Jim. Her brothers R.J. and Jim preceded her in death.

Suzanne married the love of her life, Arnold (Gabby) Ward on June 26, 1967. These two were truly soul mates. The never ending love and devotion to each other was exactly as God intended. Their love was so true and genuine. This year she will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in Heaven, with our Heavenly Father by her side.

Suzanne and Gab were foster parents for several years, opening their home to many children. During this time, they chose one to adopt and call their own, Trish. Her world revolved around the love for her soul mate, her daughter, her two granddaughters Kami and Kaci and her great-grandson Brinton, all of whom will miss her so very much.

She was a Christian and loved her Lord. She was a member of the Gentryville Baptist Church. God gave her the strength and comfort she needed to overcome obstacles and ultimately, what she needed to battle her disease to the end.

She is survived by her husband Gab, Albany, daughter Trish, granddaughters, Kaci and Kami, great-grandson Brinton, and many friends and family who dearly loved her and will miss her greatly.
