Tammera (Tammy) Kay (Whitaker) Mercer, 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She was born September 19, 1957 in Beech Grove, Indiana, the daughter of the late James and Florence Whitaker.

She married Jeffrey Gerald Mercer August 2, 1988 in Indianapolis, Indiana. To this union four children were born: Jessica, Casey, Matthew, and Benjamin.

Tammy enjoyed baseball and dance, her children and grandchildren. She had a beautiful spirit and was of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Cheryl Ann Whitaker.

Tammy will be remembered by her children Jessica (Waylon) Manns; Casey Mercer, Matthew Mercer, and Benjamin (Marissa) Kleinman; twelve grandchildren; and brothers,James and Michael Whitaker.

Private Memorial Graveside Service will be held in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany, MO.
