Obituary

Theda Mable (DeWitt) Duley, 88 of Stanberry and a former resident of Darlington was born January 3, 1922 in Darlington, the daughter of Ed and Delia (Hartman) DeWitt and went to her home in Heaven on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry with her family by her side. Mable was a homemaker. She was a member of the Darlington Methodist Church, she enjoyed reading western books and playing the character of Minnie Pearl at a country music show. On August 11, 1937, Mable was united in marriage to Virgil Duley. To this union 5 children were born; Dena Kelly; Darlene (Myron) Dombrow, Bethany; Colene (Tom) Walker, Stanberry; Larry (Pam) Duley, Darlington; and Tom (Debbie) Duley, New Hampton. Mable was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil on July 19, 1991; her daughter, Dena; granddaughter, Sharon Annette Walker; grandson, Fred Estep and two sisters, Virginia DeWitt and Edith Hulet. Besides her children, Mable is survived by 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
