Thelma A. Zimmerman, 97 of Stanberry, Missouri and a former resident of St. Joseph passed away, Monday April 16, 2012 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry, where she was a resident for the last few years. Thelma, the daughter of George and Verda (Mowery) Bancroft was born, July 23, 1914 in Carroll, Iowa. On November 1, 1943, she was united in marriage to Martin B. Zimmerman. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Shirlee Dobson and Vera Bancroft. Survivors: Sister, Opal McCamley, West Des Moines, IA; niece, Trudy Kelley, Des Moines, IA; great-niece, Sarah Kelley, Urbandale, IA; great-nephew, Anthony Kelley, Grand Junction, IA and other numerous nieces and nephews.
