Tristan Ash Coleman of Albany and Sugar Creek, MO died unexpectantly June, 18 of 2018 on the way home from helping move his sister to Colorado Springs. Tristan was involved in a vehicle accident while driving through Oakley, KS. He was 19 years old.
Tristan is survived by his mother, Melinda, and siblings, Charlie, Logan and Daisy as well as Aunts, Uncles and maternal grandparents. He is preceeded in death by his father, Dr. Michael Coleman, Uncles and paternal grandparents.
Tristan graduated high school 2017 with honors from Albany High School. He worked as a veterinary technician at N.E. Animal Hospital. He dreamed of college and a degree in medicine or veterinary medicine and planned to start college this year. . He spent the past year caring for his mother as well as working with her.
Tristan was inducted into the National Honor Society his sophomore year of high school. He was the founder of Warriors for Christ. The group did charitable work and landscaped and renovated exterior work for Kansas City Pet Project as well as other non for profit groups..
Tristan also talked to high school students about sexual assault, consent and title 9. At one event, he spoke to over 500 students. He was an impressive and inspirational speaker that truly loved people and wanted to make the world a better place. Tristan loved to workout and loved wrestling and well as animals and his family. He often took food and money to the homeless and even on the day he passed from this world, stopped to make sure a mother and her 5 children, who were living on the streets, had breakfast and some cash. He said he was blessed to be able to help others. Tristan had a light that shown so bright. He forgave everyone that hurt him and loved even those that sought to destroy him. He was an incredible person with incredible faith. He will be missed terribly by family and friends.
