Velva Jean Hamilton, 87, of Albany, Missouri, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center in Albany.

Jean was born September 30, 1930 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Elmer and Marie (McDowell) Beadle.

Jean married Donnie Glen Hamilton December 1, 1957. He preceded her in death May 1, 2012.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Elmer Beadle and two sisters, Joann Taylor and Nighta Jones.

Jean was a homemaker and a member of the New Hampton Christian Church.

Survivors: sons, Don Junior Hamilton, King City; Gary and Terry Hamilton, Albany; daughter, Connie Holcomb, Albany; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Friday, June 29 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Lone Star Cemetery, Denver.  The family will receive friends 7:00-8:00 PM Thursday evening at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Thursday.  Memorial Contributions:  Velva Jean Hamilton Memorial Fund in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N.
