Wanda "Maudie" Irene Youngs, the daughter of Dale and Alta (Swope) Daniel was born on April 30, 1938 in Daviess County, Pattonsburg, Missouri where she spent most of her life. Wanda passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Northwest Medical Center in Albany at the age of 74. On June 18, 1953, Wanda was united in marriage to J.C. Youngs. To this union four children were born. After staying home to raise her family, Wanda went to work for Woodward Grocery in McFall, then worked as a cook for the Pattonsburg School for 24 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Gwendola Spiers, brothers, Ovid, Jimmy and Eddie Daniel. Survivors: Husband, J.C. of the home; Daughters, Kathy Ray, McFall; Carol (Steve) Hopkins, Albany; Marilyn (Curt) Wilmes, Albany; Son, Mike (Reita) Youngs, Coffey, MO; Sisters, Letha Shipers and Julia Cornett, both of Pattonsburg; Eulonda Breeze, Hamilton; Kathleen Scott, Washington State; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews and also cousins. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 19 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the McFall Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, where friends may call anytime after 3:00 PM Monday.
