Wilbur Lee "Pete" Davis, 79 of Albany passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Northwest Medical Center in Albany. Pete was born May 30, 1929 in Gentry County, Missouri. He was the son of Bert Luster and Edna May (Cheatham) Davis. Pete worked as a farm hand and at Bunch and Son Stave Mill in Albany. He loved to fish and watch birds. He was a member of the Denver Christian Church. Pete was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martina Waldeier; Sisters, Martha Higgins, Ola Collins and Gertie Davis; Brothers, Clair, Johnny, Irvin, Marvin "Buck" and Rex Davis. Survivors: Daughters, Susie (Max) Fletchall, Clearfield, IA; Brenda(Johnny) Thurman, Grant City; Sons, John (Beth) Davis, Kahoka, MO; Rick (Ramona) Davis, Denver, MO; Brothers, Jim Davis, Deleware; Norman "Bull" Davis, Albany; Sisters, Vernie Lane, Stanberry; Opal Mikes, Pattonsburg; 6 grandchidren and one step-grandson.
