William Elmer "Bill" Wright, 71 of Albany passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 at an Albany hspital. Bill, the son of Edward Doyle and Mae (Newburg) Wright was born November 24, 1937 in Villisca, Iowa. He was raised by Dale and Evelyn King. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Patricia Wright and Geri Ann Peterson, brothers, Paul and Earl Wright and aunt, Ida Newberg. Bill was a retired Navy Korean and Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Albany American Legion Post #106. He was also a retired truck driver. Survivors: Edward Nemetz, Union, NE; Daughters, Catherine Sandoval, Omaha, NE; Michelle Lemon, Indianola, IA; Mary Quinley, Albany; Wilhemina Erika (Billie) San Juan, Lee's Summit, MO; Dorothy Marie (Dottie) Wright, Kansas City, MO; Sister, Dorothy Dumler, Villisca, IA; the mother of his children, Grace Wright Lawrence, Albany and 16 grandchildren.
